MAD ABS

MAD ABS is advice on how to obtain specific core results.  The core muscles consist of not only the Abdominal muscles (transverse abdominis, internal obliques, external obliques, rectus abdominis,) but also involves the hip abductors/adductors, hip flexors, and lumbar spine.  Some want a flat stomach or a "six pack", while others have the desire to strengthen that area of their body to achieve less back discomfort or a better posture.  Whether you want to see your abdominal muscles again, or fix that maddening stiffness in your lower and upper back, MAD ABS has some advice on how to reach all core fitness desires in a fun and extremely effective way.

H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training)

Don't have all day to spend at the gym?  Researchers at Australia's University of New Wales found that in just 15 minutes, H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) can burn three times as much unwanted body fat as running twice as long at a moderately hard, steady pace.  Whether you are a beginner to the fitness world or have been running for years, these interval workouts will find you begging for more and realizing that your body can and will do more than you think.

STRENGTH TRAINING

Strength training occurs when your muscles work against the resistance of weight and gravity to move an object with the intention of increasing muscular strength.  Strength training can be done with free weights, weight machines, resistance bands, tubing or with your body weight.  Strength training helps you manage your weight, increases your stamina, helps you reduce symptoms of chronic conditions like arthritis, and reduces your risk of injury.  Almost any type of activity that gets you up and moving is good for you.  Learn more ways to train your body, improve your posture and lose inches as you incorporate these various strength training exercises and facts into your every week workouts.
